The French Know Provenance

I was recently in Paris, before and after my trip to TaPP 2011 and I had a chance to visit the Cité des Sciences et l’Industrie, the largest science museum in Europe.  There were many wonderful things to see and it was a fantastic experience.  I am always on the lookout for how other scientists see the world, so it is appropriate that I came across the following distinction between information traceability (i.e., provenance collectability) and information tracking (i.e., one possible use of provenance).
